Scholarship Opportunity: USMS National Coaches Clinic

This September, U.S. Masters Swimming will host it's National Coaches Clinic (NCC) in Denver, Colorado. The North Texas LMSC is pleased to announce we will be offering three scholarships for local Masters coaches to attend, with all expenses covered!

The National Coaches Clinic is designed specifically for on-deck Masters coaches and offers valuable education, networking, and professional development opportunities. What’s Included?

North Texas LMSC will cover the following expenses for three lucky coaches: clinic registration, flights and travel expenses, hotel fees, and all food/beverage expenses.

How Do I Apply?

If you feel you are a strong candidate to represent our LMSC at the National Coaches Clinic, please send us your coach’s resume along with 1-3 paragraphs on how you plan to use this clinic to benefit your Masters Club and the members of our LMSC. We will be accepting submissions through Monday, July 20th.  Email your submissions to our Chair and Membership Chair at the following email accounts: chair@northtexasmasters.org and membership@northtexasmasters.org.

Applicants must meet the following criteria: 

1. You must currently be an active on-deck coach at one of our registered LMSC Clubs.(head coach or assistant coach)

2. You must be at least a Level 1 USMS Certified Masters Coach.

3. You must assist the North Texas Board in hosting a Coaches Clinic upon your return.
